We had an absolute blast celebrating our second party with you! It was brilliant seeing all the smiles and laughter in the vineyard, thank you for making such a fun day!
We were so lucky with the weather, it really helped with the evaporation in those wine glasses!
The party helps mark the start of the growing season in our first harvest year. This will be their third summer and we'll be taking a crop at the end of September/ start of October.
We were so happy to welcome two new music acts to the barn. You and I acoustic duo kicked off our entertainment. This was their middle gig within 24 hours but absolutely hit every note with such energy! Everyone in the kitchen was dancing away and then the inside of the barn became a dance floor as well!
Then as the sun started making some gorgeous long shadows across the vineyard Chris Poole entertained us with with his brilliant two hour set pitched perfectly with his surroundings across the Welland Valley.
We'll hopefully get both acts back later this summer for some Saturday fun as we were blessed to get such talent and positive people into the vineyard!
It looks like warm weather ahead and we're getting very excited about seeing the grapes forming and our first harvest! We hope you get a chance to see the vineyard in the next months as you'll hopefully see something special happening as well trying some delicious English wine!
